How You Can Help
Adopt a House! Organize people from your company, service organization, faith community or neighborhood to provide all the materials and work together to rehabilitate a house (under the direction of one of our skilled House Captains).
Volunteer! Whether you’re a skilled building trades professional, home handyperson or all thumbs, we can find a job for you. Besides a broad variety of jobs on project day, we need volunteers to help with project planning, picking up and delivering materials, and assisting in community awareness programs. Students 16 years and older can earn community service credits as an RTKCMD volunteer. If you want to make a year-round commitment to help, we need you on one of our committees -- House Qualifications & Homeowner Relations, Project Planning & Logistics, Volunteer Development, and Fundraising & Marketing. Feed a Team! Provide food and beverages for a house team on project day.
Lend Us Your Storage Space! We need a large, secure, accessible shed or garage or warehouse space to store materials, supplies and tools.
Spread the Word! Tell your co-workers, employees, family, friends and neighbors about Rebuilding Together Kent County, MD, and encourage them to get involved.
